Since pretending to read music as a 5-year old with perfect pitch, Sergio DuBois has been a passionate multi-instrumentalist his whole life. Developing a love for Jazz while studying Mathematics at the University of Chicago, he went on to the University of Miami Jazz program briefly, staying surreptitiously for several years in the practice rooms after formally changing to a degree in Computer Science. When he moved near to New York in 2000, he became a student of Joanne Brackeen. Today Sergio mostly records in his home studio, and plays occasionally at local concerts. Soon Sergio is planning to move to New York City, and would love to make music in the parks and subway stations, as well as forming a steady Jazz piano trio.
