Saída de Yano Música

Since making her national television debut in 2001, violinist Sayuri Yano has earned honors as both a performer and scholar. As a musician, she has appeared on Fuji TV in Japan, NBC TV in the US, and KBS TV in Korea. She performs in recitals for audiences in the US and Asia and has won top prizes in prestigious competitions including the Claire Despres Oppenheim Concerto Competition. She has appeared at major festivals including Ravinia in Chicago and Meadowmount in Westport, New York. As a collaborative artist, she performs with ensembles large and small, often appearing as a member of piano trios and string quartets. Among her scholarly attainments, Ms. Yano earned the Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Roosevelt University at age 13, graduating magna cum laude. In addition, she has been the recipient of several scholarships and is a member of the Phi Theta Kappa honor society. Ms. Yano graduated with a Bachelor of Music degree in violin performance from the Peabody Institute at age 17, where she studied with Keng-Yuen Tseng.
