Antti Paavali Jumppanen (1974-) is a pianist and the Maj Lind Piano Competition winner in 1994 and the Young Concert Artists' International Auditions winner in New York in 2000, He worked as a piano and chamber music at the Espoo Music Institute in 2003-2012. Jumppanen studied at the Sibelius Academy in 1997-2000 and Krystian Zimerman under the leadership of the Basel Academy of Music, where she completed a soloist diploma. Jumppanen occur regularly soloist with orchestras in Europe, North America, Japan and Australia . He made his first album by Deutsche Grammophon in 2005 the composer Pierre Boulez invitation. Jumppanen and violinist Corey Cerovsekin a recording of Beethoven's sonatas for piano and violin received the Midem Award for best chamber music disk 2008 Jumppanen has presented Beethoven [1] , and Mozart's piano sonatas, several concert series in the United States and Finland. In 2010, The Boston Globe chose his performance of Olivier Messiaen's piano series "20 gaze Jesus-child" of the 10 best concert listing. Jumppanen has commissioned and premiered a number of piano compositions by Finnish composers. During the academic year 2011-12 Jumppanen work as a visitor at Harvard University's music department. From 2015 Jumppanen works Piano Espoo, Finland-artistic director of the festival.
