Paolo Tommaso Alberghi was an Italian composer. He studied with Tartini and served at Faenza Cathedral, becoming maestro di cappella in 1760. He wrote mainly instrumental music in Tartini's style; the ornate violin writing reflects his virtuoso reputation. He also wrote sacred works. His son Ignazio (1758-after c1836), an operatic tenor and church composer, was maestro di cappella at Faenza Cathedral (1787-96) and served at the Dresden court.
