Myles Birket Foster was an English organist and composer. From 1871 he was pupil of Hamilton Clarke. Later of Sullivan, Prout and Westlake at R.A.M.He was then organist ad Haweis'church from 1873 to 1874, at the Foundling Hospital from 1880-92. Among his works is worth mentioning: Evening services in C for male chorus, Communion Service in B flat, Antems, several Children's Catantas (such as Cinderella, Lampblack, Beauty and the Beast, etc), numerous songs, and a Symphony in F sharp minor.
