Piano Sonata no. 1 in F-sharp minor, Op. 11

Robert Schumann completed his Sonata in F sharp minor between 1832 and 1835, and it was published in 1836 as his first piano sonata (a publishing error, since his Sonata no. 2 had an earlier composition date). It s a work in four movements, dedicated to "Clara zugeignet von Florestan & Eusebius".
