Johannes Brahms' Liebeslieder Waltzes is a series of love songs, distributed across two opus numbers: 52 and 65. The first set, Op. 52, was composed in 1869 and published that same year. The songs are written in Ländler style for voices and piano four hands, and based on Georg Friedrich Daumer's Polydora collection of folk songs and love poems. An average performance of the cycle takes 20 minutes.
