Haydn wrote his Keyboard concerto in D in 1782 and published it two years later. It is a work in three movements, usually catalogued as Hob. 18:11, and it calls for a solo keyboard instrument, two oboes, two horns, and strings. A work of moderate difficulty, it is a student favorite. A standard rendition lasts about 15 minutes.
