The Mazurka in D major, B. 71, is a work composed by Frédéric Chopin in the year 1832 and first published in 1880. B. 71 is in fact considered a heavily revised version of the 1829 Mazurka in D major, B. 31 (published in 1875). As this piece doesn't have a proper Opus number, it is usually referred to as B. 71 and KK IVb/2, according to its entry numbers in the Brown, and Kobylanska catalogues respectively.
