Sergei Prokofiev's Sonata ni. 5 in c major, op. 38 and op. 135 is a sonata for solo piano. Prokofiev composed the piece in Ettal in 1923, and dedicated it to Pierre Souvthinski. He revised it in 1952 under a different Op. number, with most of the changes ocurring in the last movement
