Bach Prelude in C minor, BWV 999

The Prelude in C minor BWV 999 is a prelude for solo lute written by Johann Sebastian Bach, probably during the late 1710s or early 1720s. It has been adapted for many instruments, such as violin, piano, and naturally, guitar. Professional recordings of this piece are usually followed by the Fugue in G minor, BWV 1000. It is also widely played as a stand alone piece by classical and electric guitarists, sometimes transposed to the more guitar-friendly key of D minor.
