Summer’s Eve at Cookham Lock, Op. 50, is a string quartet in one movement composed by John David Davis, and first published in 1916. It was dedicated to his friends of the London String Quartet: Messrs, Albert Sammons, Thomas Petrie, Harry Waldo Warner, and Warwick Evans.
