Niccolo Paganini published his set of Six Sonatas for Violin & Guitar, often catalogued as Op. 3 in 1819. The collection is dedicated to Ragazza Eleonora. Number six is one of the most often played pieces on the set, being an expressive yet not virtuoso work.
