Beethoven Wind Octet in E-flat major, Op. 103

Ludwig van Beethoven composed his Octet in E flat major, Op. 103, between 1792 and 1793. It is a piece for two oboes, two clarinets, two bassoons, and two horns, and it was published late in his life, despite it being an early work. He reworked and expanded the Octet in 1795 as his first String Quintet, Op. 4.
