Brahms Variations on a Theme by Paganini, Op. 35

The Variations on a Theme of Paganini, Op. 35, is a set of piano variations based on Caprice no. 24 in A minor, from Niccolò Paganini's Op. 1. Composed in 1863 and published as a set of studies for piano, the work consists of two volumes, each of which opens with the original theme, followed by 14 variations.
