Saint-Saëns Introduction and Rondo Capriccioso, Op. 28

Camille Saint-Saens wrote his Introduction and Rondo Capriccioso, Op. 28. in 1863. It is a piece in they key of A minor, originally composed for violin and orchestra but very popular in its piano + violin arrangement. It was intended for virtuoso violinist Pablo de Sarasate, and since its premiere it has endured as one of Saint-Saens' most popular compositions.
