Nicolás Pellón 音楽

Nicolás Pellón was born in Charlottesville, Virginia. He began piano lessons at the age of six, and made his orchestral debut at sixteen, playing Beethoven's Piano Concerto No.2 in B-flat major with the Charlottesville Youth Orchestra under Kenneth Nafziger. Pellón continued his studies in piano performance at University of Maryland School of Music on full scholarship, and the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music on full teaching assistantship. His teachers have included Barbara Chapdelaine, Mimi Tung, Santiago Rodríguez, and Edward Auer. Pellón has given concerts in Indiana, Maryland, New York, North Carolina, Virginia, and Washington D.C. He has taught on the piano faculties of the Indiana University Pre-College and Secondary Piano programs, the International School of Music in Bethesda, and currently teaches at and runs the Nicolás Pellón Piano Studio in Upper Marlboro, Maryland.
