William Young Sheet Music

  • Died: 23rd April 1662
  • Birthplace: England

About Young's career and life in England is still little known. From this time there are copies of some of his works lyra-viol, which are in a relation to Durham Cathedral. He spent his last years at the court of the music-loving Archduke Ferdinand Karl in Innsbruck. The Archives Innsbruck shows that Young has performed in Regensburg with the court conductor Cesti before Emperor Ferdinand III. In 1660 Young traveled to England for a short time. His death is recorded in the parish registers of St. Jacob Innsbruck, on 23 April 1662.
