Wilhelm Gottfried Enderle was a German musician. He started learning music in Nuremberg with different masters until he became 14 years old, after which he went to Berlin, and there received his completed training in music. After he had made several trips, he came in 1748 as court musician in the service of the Prince-Bishop of Würzburg, but where it remained only to 1753, because he was appointed to Darmstadt, whom he followed, where he was then employed at the local court as concertmaster. Enderle was known as a great violinist and composer. Of his many musical works for the violin and the piano nothing was edited in printed editions.
