Oscar de la Cinna, baron of Cinna and count of Marcks is a pianist and composer of Hungarian origin, who worked in Spain. From the romantic school of Budapest, he studied with Karl Czerny and was classmate of Franz Liszt. His fame led him to perform virtuous numerous tours in Europe and America. In 1866 he moved to Mallorca after living in France, England and Portugal, performing several concerts in Palma. The following year he married Cecilia Esteva. The couple lived in various parts of Germany as well as in Madrid and Palma. Subsequently, the musician settled in Seville.
