Karl Jakob Wagner was a German composer and horn toiletries. He joined the orchestra of Darmstadt from 1790 and later acquired fame as a performer, making numerous trips. Finally, it was, choirmaster court and composed for the theater of his hometown opera: Pygmalion, Der Zahnartz, Herod Nitetis and Chimene, and several dramatic cantatas; two symphonies; Jungfrau von Orleans openings and Götz von Berlichingen; violin sonatas; trios for flute, violin and cello; 40 duets for horn; works for flute and violin; variations for piano, etc.
