Milton Wellings, composer, author and teacher of singing, was born in 1850, was educated by private tutors and was the eldest son of Joseph Wellings of Soho Park, Btaffordshire. Among the songs which he composed were "Someday" "Golden Love" "At the Perry" "Prearnnr?" "This is My Dream" "Yo Lab!" and "Honey, Dear"
