Felice Frasi was an Italian organist and composer. He studied music with his maternal uncle, Benedict Gregori, cathedral organist and soon began to play the organ in the church of S. Maria di Campagna in Piacenza. In March 12, 1822 he entered the Conservatory of Music in Milan, where he studied piano and composition with Bonifacio Asioli and graduated in August 10, 1827. In June 3, 1826 his opera in two acts La selva d'Hermanstadt was represented at the Teatro alla Scala, with libretto by Felice Romani
