Karl or Carl or Charles Vollweiler was a German composer. His father, who was a distinguished musician, was his only teacher. After his musical instruction he moved to St. Petersburg, where he lived for some years as a teacher. He spent his last years of his life in Heidelberg. His works are: a symphony, two piano trios and string instruments, variations on Russian themes for bow quartets, a piano sonata, six studies lyrical, melodic six studies, and other compositions piano.
