Antonio Valente was a blind organist, harpsichordist Italian composer. He was an organist of the church S. Angelo-a-Nilo (or Nido) in Naples, from 1565 to 1580. His Intavolatura 1576, written in an unusual numerical rating, contains fantasy for the oldest currently known keyboard , imitative ricercari, and variations. He also published a volume decanons for the organ, Versi spirituali (Naples, 1580).
